Your Unique Journey
Every separation is unique. Some arrangements will be straightforward, others will require creative problem-solving or careful negotiation. Whether you're navigating property division, parenting arrangements, or both, our collaborative approach provides the structure and support you need.
The collaborative process is designed to address whatever matters are important to your situation - from dividing assets fairly to creating sustainable parenting frameworks - while keeping you out of court and in control of the outcomes.
Fixed Fee Approach
Our fixed fee approach covers all legal services that are scoped which means you know exactly what our legal support will cost upfront. No surprise bills, no hourly charges that escalate when discussions take time to work through. If circumstances change and the scope of work needs to expand, we'll discuss this with you openly, re-scope the work, and provide fresh cost estimates before proceeding - you'll never receive bills for work done without your informed consent.
When we recommend additional professionals - such as financial planners, forensic accountants, collaborative coaches, or (when children are involved) child psychologists or education consultants - we'll discuss their separate fees transparently before any engagement, so you can make informed decisions about what support makes sense for your situation.
You can take the time needed to get the arrangements right - whether that's property division, parenting plans, or both - without financial stress adding to an already challenging situation. And you can do this while maintaining control over the process and outcomes, rather than handing that control to the court system.
The Collaborative Difference
Unlike traditional litigation, collaborative law keeps you in the driver's seat. You make the decisions about what's fair, what works, and what your future looks like. Our role is to provide legal guidance, facilitate productive conversations, and ensure the agreements you reach are legally sound and sustainable.
This approach works whether you're dividing property, creating parenting arrangements, or addressing both. The collaborative process adapts to your specific needs, bringing in the right professionals at the right time to support informed decision-making.
When children are involved: Our collaborative approach ensures you have access to education about child development, family dynamics, and effective co-parenting strategies. When parental alienation concerns arise or additional professional support is needed, swift intervention and informed decision-making can protect important relationships - and this work is far more effective outside the courtroom environment.
When property is the focus: We work with financial professionals to ensure full transparency, creative problem-solving, and settlements that allow both partners to move forward with financial security and independence.
